The signature taste and texture of Tavern style is radically different to Italian style pizza, being thin, crispy and loaded with delicious toppings. Rather than being rolled by hand, it’s done with a rolling pin, which is not only easier, but gives a superbly light and crisp base. With a clever little trick known as ‘curing’ the dough, it takes this delicious style of pizza to a whole new level. Chicago Tavern style doesn’t need an outside pizza oven to cook in as it cooks superbly well in your domestic oven.

Tavern style pizza is always cut into squares (never slices) which makes it the perfect way to share this mouthwatering pizza with friends and family.
