Heirloom Tomato Salad
A delicious side salad perfect with any pizza.
Heirloom tomatoes are delightful and come in several different varieties. Use a good greengrocer to find these gems that make an incredible side salad. Eat the salad quickly after preparing it and serve with your favourite pizza and a large glass of your favourite wine.
Ingredients:
3-4 Heirloom tomatoes (choose a few different colours/sizes)
Parmesan Cheese
Edible wild flowers (optional but they look amazing with the salad)
Extra Virgin Olive oil
Salt and Pepper
Method:
Slice the tomatoes parallel to the stalk and lay out on a large plate.
Freshly grate some Parmesan cheese onto the tomatoes
Add the wild flowers onto the top of the tomatoes and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
